A post-trial patient registry for patients who participated in an earlier OASIS study
The OASIS PoST-Trial PAtient Registry (STAR Registry) is for women experiencing vasomotor symptoms (VMS)--also known as hot flashes and night sweats--due to menopause, who have previously participated in an OASIS study.
About the OASIS STAR RegistryThe main goal of this Registry is to understand how treatments for VMS associated with menopause were used before and after an OASIS study. This includes looking at which medications were prescribed, how well patients followed their treatment plans, and how often they stopped taking their medication.
The second goal is to examine how VMS treatments were used after an OASIS study, including how often patients visited doctors, which types of specialists they saw, and the most common reasons for these visits.
Participation in this registry is voluntary and valuable in advancing the understanding of treatments and medications for women experiencing VMS.
What is involved?Except for your time, there is no cost to you. This registry study does not involve any treatments, medications or interventions, so there are no expected risks to your health. You can choose not to participate and may stop at any time without penalty. If you choose to join the OASIS STAR Registry, you will be asked to consent to both phases of the registry.
- Phase 1: Completing a short, web-based survey about your VMS and treatments prior to joining an OASIS study
- Phase 2: Consenting to share your de-identified medical data for analysis over the six months following your participation in an OASIS study

The online survey should take no more than 10 minutes to finish and will ask you questions about your VMS and treatments prior to joining one of the OASIS studies. Your answers will be reported anonymously. Your name will not be used in any report.
Medical Data Analysis
As part of your agreement to participate in this registry, you are consenting to share your de-identified medical data (pharmacy and medical claims) for analysis. This will help Bayer, the sponsor of this study, evaluate VMS treatment patterns and healthcare usage over the six months following your participation in an OASIS study.
Throughout your participation in the Registry, all privacy guidelines will be strictly followed to ensure no personal information is disclosed.
